The innovation of ASSA ABLOY together with the design of Valli&Valli

The world’s leading manufacturer and supplier of door opening solutions, ASSA ABLOY, has signed an agreement to acquire Valli&Valli, a leading Italian manufacturer of design door handles.
“The door and its handle is an important part of the first impression that a house makes on a person. We are pleased to be part of ASSA ABLOY, a provider of well-designed, convenient, safe and secure door opening solutions”, says Carlo Edoardo Valli, Chairman of Valli&Valli.
The door handles of Valli&Valli have evolved from the vision of the handle as a furnishing component and the philosophy of conveying style and functional elegance. In 1976 the profile of the door handle was raised from a functional component when the Fusital design handles for doors and windows were launched.
Through its industrial credibility and strong image, Valli&Valli was the first company of its kind to involve designers and architects. The list of designers and architects that Valli&Valli has worked with grows steadily every year. Norman Foster, Jean Nouvel and David Chipperfield have all worked with Valli&Valli.
